Who knew straight carrots would be SO HARD to grow! I planted packets and packets, and none grew more than an inch… or straight! Hail to the carrot growers out there who enjoy this beauty from the garden. I will strive for a better harvest next year and will add more sand to the soil. Each time I see this piece, I am grateful for the bounty of color, texture, and health that comes from the soil.
