Desert Palms prints
As we traveled to the Dead Sea, I marveled at the desolation around the water. Brown earth every where. Not a ripple in the water nor a boat. Jordan on one side. Israel on another. The desert mountains changing tones as we traveled south to north. However, though the sea was (seemingly) “dead” it was full of life. There is a vibrant ecosystem around the sea. The colors in this painting specifically reflect the death to life I imagine. The truth: what may look dead can be full of life.
